WHO CAN QUALIFY FOR COVID-19 MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY TREATMENTS
How is “high risk” defined? High risk patients must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Body mass index (BMI) > 35
- Have Chronic kidney disease
- If you have diabetes mellitus
- Those with immunosuppressive disease
- If you are currently receiving immunosuppressive treatment
- Age of at least 65 years old
- If you are at least 55 years of age AND have a cardiovascular disease, hypertension or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

REGENCOV ANTIBODY TREATMENT IN BOCA RATON
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for REGEN-COV™ (casirivimab and imdevimab). This authorization is for the treatment of mild to moderate coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in adults and pediatric patients. Pediatric patients include patients 12 years of age and older weighing at least 40 kg. Both ages have to be diagnosed with positive results of direct SARS-CoV-2 viral testing. Lastly, those who are at high risk for progression to severe COVID-19, including hospitalization or death are also approved for the RegenCOV antibody treatment.
WHAT ARE THE LIMITATIONS IF ANY TO THE COVID-19 MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY TREATMENTS?
Limitations of Authorized Use (Treatment) REGEN-COV is not authorized for use in patients:
- who are hospitalized due to COVID-19
- who require oxygen therapy due to COVID-19
- who require an increase in baseline oxygen flow rate due to COVID-19
- in those on chronic oxygen therapy due to underlying non-COVID-19 related comorbidity Monoclonal antibodies, such as REGEN-COV, may be associated with worse clinical outcomes when administered to hospitalized patients with COVID-19 requiring high-flow oxygen or mechanical ventilation

Active Infection: We test for active infections via a PCR Nasal swab . Our private laboratory has results available usually in 72 hours.
Remote Exposure: We utilize two tests to see if you have been exposed in the past:
- In office Antibody testing (IGg / IGm) is performed with a finger stick and results are obtained in 15 mins.
- Via blood draw and sent to Quest Diagnostics.
How Do I Get My Covid-19 Results?
Our State of the art CLIA Approved Labs provide a written lab report usually in 72 hours. Antibody tests performed in office will be given while in office.
